Behind every statistic is a child.  As face, a story, a battle being fought. A brave soul, a scared parent, and a team of professionals working around the clock to help a child feel healthy, happy and hopeful.

My mission with this event is to bring Children’s Cancer to the forefront, get people talking about it, let people know that kids get cancer too! That children die from cancer, and from the effects of the harsh toxic treatments that they have to put their bodies to try to kill the cancer that has invaded their bodies, in the hopes that they will make it to the other side.

My goal with this endurance event is to cross southern Utah, which will be no less than 460 miles in 15 days. On each of the 15 days I will be highlighting a different type of Pediatric cancer.

I would like to honor children who are either currently, or have been in treatment for, each type of cancer.

I believe that it is of the utmost importance to personalize Children’s Cancer as much as possible, and for me personally, it would be a tremendous privilege to honor these beautiful children.

Please contact me if you would like me to honor and share your child’s story during my run. Let me tell the stories that the world needs to hear. Let’s put a face on this. Let’s get some action! I’m ready to battle!

Just as important, my mission is to raise money. Much needed money for research to develop better treatments, children specific treatments, and ultimately a cure for all Pediatric cancers. A pipe dream? I don’t think so.

We’re getting closer, just 43 days to go!!!
